8 week old Sheldon and his 2 sisters, wild and scared, came to me for fostering and socializing. The girls quickly tamed and returned to the shelter, ready for adoption. Sheldon wasn’t ready then … or ever. Over nearly 15 years he came to mostly trust me but would still run and hide when anyone visited. Pet sitters never saw him. Despite this he had plenty of personality. He enjoyed most of his cat housemates and was very protective of the youngest among them. He was ever talkative, loved to eat and expected his meals to be punctual. He was the most dependable alarm clock I’ve ever had. He is missed.
