Sadie Bella

“On August 8th, we said goodbye to our beautiful girl, Sadie Bella, after 13 incredible years of unconditional love, loyalty, laughter, and companionship.
It is almost impossible to put into words what Sadie meant to our family. She wasn't simply our dog. She was family. She was part of our everyday lives, our routines, our celebrations, our quiet moments, and so many of the memories that made our house a home.
Sadie had that special way dogs do of loving without conditions. She never cared what kind of day you were having or what was happening in the world. She was simply happy to be with us. Her love was constant, pure, and unwavering.
For 13 years, we were blessed to watch her grow from our sweet girl into our beautiful old lady. As she aged and life became a little harder for her, her spirit remained the same. She was strong, gentle, loyal, and so very loved. We would have done anything for her, and saying goodbye was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do.
There is an emptiness in our home now that is difficult to describe. We miss the sound of her, the sight of her, the routines that revolved around her, and simply knowing that she was there.
But more than anything, we are grateful.
Grateful that we got to be her family.
Grateful for 13 years of kisses, companionship, funny moments, comfort, and memories.
Grateful that of all the families in the world she could have belonged to, somehow Sadie Bella belonged to us.
She gave us far more than we could ever have given her in return.
Sweet Sadie, you were loved every single day of your life, right through your very last one. You will forever be a part of our family and forever have a place in our hearts.
We hope you are smiling down from Heaven, your legs are strong again, you're running free, the sun feels warm on your face, and you know just how deeply you were loved.
