“Miss Eva and I shared 17 years together. She was a one person cat and I will always keep her in my heart. We enjoyed starting the day together, many times with her waking me with a gentle tap on the face. At the end of most days, she always sat in my lap and napped. We played with ribbons, my eye glasses, and cat nip toys. We enjoyed eating nacho cheese chips and sleeping in the sun coming through the windows. We enjoyed being outside on the patio reading and napping. She had a place on my desk and this is where she wanted to be when I was working. We enjoyed most nights sleeping in the same bed unless it was thundering in which she would hide in my closet.  We enjoyed living, sleeping, and being in the same space as companions, buddies, and grounding friends. I miss her in all of these spaces and places in my home. Miss Eva was a gift and I am grateful to have been her human. Until we meet in some way again, I hope she is running and playing without fear”.
